We the undersigned U.S. citizens oppose any border wall funding that does not require wall construction fully comply with all applicable Federal, State and local environmental laws, and that the wall avoids all significant negative impacts on all national parks, monuments and wildlife refuges, including the Santa Ana National Wildlife Refuge, and all similar State, local and privately owned parks, refuges and preserves.
Why is this important?
The borderlands are my home, which I happily share with members of diverse cultures and with precious threatened and endangered species. I oppose any wall, but to save this precious part of the US, at the very least any wall that is built must comply with all applicable environmental laws.
