The benefits the restraurant owners receive is ridden on the backs of their employees. A living wage for these highly undrpaid members of the restraurant industry is a national embarrassment. Restraurant employees deserve to have a living wage, Do the right thing and bring equality to more low paying jobs as we raise the minimum wage for others
Why is this important?
The young people are the bulk of emoyees in the restraurant industry. My daughter was graduating with school debt and working for essentially tips. No employer was responsible for providing a minimum wage. This needs to stop.
