To: The United States House of Representatives and The United States Senate

Congress: do what's needed to avoid the "fiscal cliff".

Government can create jobs (Homestead Act of 1862, Erie Canal, subsidizing early railroad expansion, expressway system, etc.) and the Great Depression and Great Recession are just some of the proof that lower and middle income people are more likely to put money into the economy than are high income people, especially since they often have to. We urge Congress to put aside the corrupted, discredited version of Adam Smith's economic theory, in order to help reduce the debt, rebuild infrastructure, develop the deteriorated workforce and whatever else is needed to avoid the "fiscal cliff" and restore the country and its economy.

Why is this important?

To get Congress to set aside discredited economic thinking in order to avoid the "fiscal cliff".
