Trump is now threatening to end government payments to insurers for low-income Americans. We need to stand our ground and send a loud and clear message to our members of Congress.
Why is this important?
As a low-income American, veteran, and college student, I depend on Medicaid for my healthcare needs. I have met and know many other low-income Americans who rely on Medicaid and similar programs. Ending payments to insurers who provide care for low-income Americans is a terrible slap in the face of the American public, as most of us are low-to-moderate income and depend on these services.
