Green energy is the wave of the future but we must find a way to protect birds and bats from existing wind turbines.
Please require these energy producers to retrofit existing generators with screens to prevent birds and bats from being damaged or killed by these turbines and ensure that future turbines are fitted with these screens.
Why is this important?
I and other people interested in renewable energy are concerned and dismayed by the number of flying creatures being harmed or killed by wind turbines. In order for this form of renewable energy to be truly environmentally sound, we must protect these creatures!
