Call for Action for a real grass roots Noble Cause!

A far reaching U.S. House Resolution/legislation was introduced on Earth Day, April 22, 2015.

H.R. 1966 titled the 21st Century Civilian Conservation Corps Act, sponsored by the Honorable Marcy Kaptur OH-9, is a noble cause for national service to save our soils and waters. The CCC Act should become a non-partisan issue for employment, education, workforce creation, providing a useful mission for our armed services, and for saving the environment in the upcoming 2016 Presidential, Senate and Congressional races!

The CCC will be a direct INVESTMENT by our government as an all-public sector program for our Nation's Human Resource Capital and our Natural Resource Capital as it was as an an under the Roosevelt Administration from 1933-1942. Back then, over 4 million men served and they saved over 20 more million American's from starvation and homelessness with sending home a required monthly allotment to their families. The CCC was an all male program then but now women can serve!

America needs skilled blue collar workers in her workforce! The CCC program would give many the opportunity to gain real time on the job experience in the dirty jobs that need to be done!

The CCC law would give the authority to the President to order his cabinet and their agencies to work together to create over 300,000 annual jobs and provide training for our most disadvantaged young civilians in educating them in life and job skills and also give opportunity for work for our veterans. They would engage on work that needs to be done to save our ravaged environment and deteriorating infrastructure on our federal, state and municipal government public lands and waters!

Today, many of our young citizens and veterans tragically suffer lives of quiet desperation, drug use, homelessness and incarceration. Many of them are Nature Deprived. The CCC would discretely allow and give non-violent felons a second chance to gain a full pardon and full citizenship if they satisfactorily finished their term in the CCC. All would be required to VOTE! They would experience the time of their lives with fun, travel, and adventure.

Please take action and sign and spread this petition and also phone your Members of Congress in the US House of Representatives from 9 AM to 6 PM weekdays to urge them to sign sign on as a co-sponsor of HR 1966 ... This would be a direct investment for our human and natural resource capital. All who serve in the CCC would become stewards of our lands and waters and future leaders of America and they would experience fun, travel and adventure.  

As a nation we can finally set the example for other nations to follow in world conservation.

Then we can get to involve the United Nations - FDR's last initiative. The UN would initiate and spread the idea of FDR around the globe to really save our only planet from ourselves and create generations of stewards of our lands and waters and then give experience for our future leaders.
