We insist Congressional pay and benefits be based on performance. In business it's called pay for performance. Congress should not be exempt!
Why is this important?
Congressmen have wonderful pay and benefits that are at a cost to taxpayers. Congress needs to provide evidence their performance has justified their salaries and benefits. If they are unable to pass legislation that is for the good of the American people, they should not be allowed pay or benefits. It's called pay for performance and Congress should not be exempt!
