Congressional Equality

As a citizen of the United States of America our government is for the people by the people and as such we believe that our Congress should be paid as such. Congress shall do away with their private government paid pension and join the rank and file of a public citizen and the social security pension. Also, the Congress should not have their own private health insurance, they shall join with the American citizens and receive the same medical insurance. And finally, with the down turned economy and the American people have mostly taken at least a 20% pay cut so should our Congress. We can no longer afford to pay them the amounts to which they have been accustomed. Our Congress is "of the people, by the people" and should live as the "people" live.
