Congress will vote itself an immediate pay cut to show solidarity with the American people, to help meet the budget and to show that every one must make personal sacrifices in improving the economy.
Why is this important?
In the last few yearsI have lost my home, my biggest investment and two important jobs, but I still pay taxes for the years I had a good job. Many people are suffering in this economy. Congress should take a pay cut to stand with the American people and acknowledge that everyone needs to make personal sacrifices. Tell Congress to do their part by cutting their salaries effective January 2013.
