We the American People Think it only fair that the members of congress take equal pay cuts to those they demand of the American workers, poor and senior citizens.
Congressional insurance plans and pension plans should be cut and equal worker contribution to those of teachers, police, firefighters and other workers around the country required.
Since congressional decisions made in the last few decades have caused the financial crises in the United States, congress should take a pay cut of at least 10%.
Why is this important?
Congressmen and women should have pay cuts equal to the other government employees--like office workers, police, teachers, firemen. Congress should have to use same insurance and retirement plans as the rest of the American people.
