To: The Missouri State House, The Missouri State Senate, and The United States House of Representatives
congressional reform package
Elected officials in Missouri have not kept their promises and vows to make Missouri a better place to live except for corporations. This will change under provisions of this proposed legislations via citizen's initiative.
Hence, we propose to:
1) limit term of office to one term for house and senate; 2) Elected officials pay and benefits will be determined by the precise average income of ALL Missourians taken together; 3) Helath care and all other benefits cease upon leaving office after their one term; 4) taking and offering bribes is tantamount to treason against the people; such offense, if convicted, will be punishable by the death penalty for both parties involved; 5) penalties for crimes committed while in office will be punished by DOUBLE the penalty for the average citizen. 6) the supreme court of Missouri will continue to be elected, but limited to one term in office.
If this measure by the people of Missouri is enacted by the people, it shall be put into effect immediately and is not to be altered in any way by subsequent legislative bodies.
