This Petition demands each State Legislature shall call for a Constitutional Convention to vote on adopting the following Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
Why is this important?
This Constitutional Amendment shall, by its adoption, repeal all laws which provide healthcare and retirement benefits specific to all members of the U.S. Senate, U.S. House of Representatives and their staff. This Amendment shall also bar all future self-dealing of special benefits prescribed by new laws for the benefit of members of the U.S. Congress, their families and their staff.
