We the People of the United States of America want a Constitutional Amendment placed on the next ballot to place a two term limit on Congress. If you serve 2 years as a Representative - there will not be a chance to serve another 2 years as a Senator. There will be no taxpayer paid retirement; all members of Congress must pay into the social security fund and pay medicare taxes from their pay. Per Deums will be cut by 50%. Congress will not receive a raise unless their request for a raise is placed on the ballot.
Why is this important?
Term Limits for all members of congress. Our country has been forced into economic crisis because of congressional members not listening to the People, and allowing big business to take over this country. Big business is investing all the money they can to control how this country is run. It is time to put an end to big business running this country by electing congress persons that support the Constitution as it was written - Of the People, For the People and By the People. This will help eliminate one party's agenda holding the American people hostage to its ideology. It is time to put an end to career congress persons.
