Members of Congress should be elected for a single term of 4 years and prohibited from running for an additional term.
Why is this important?
I sincerely doubt our founding fathers intended to create a profession of politics. Politicians are meant to serve the public and not worry about reelection. It should be considered a civic duty, much the same as jury duty.
