Please enact legislation now to create a stronger background check system for gun purchasers, a ban on assault weapons and high-capacity magazines, and the creation of a database to track all gun sales.
Why is this important?
After the tragedy in Sandy Hook, the State of Connecticut needs to be a national leader and a beacon of hope by enacting strong and sensible gun control laws. It would be unforgivable to fail to act on this now.
