It is time to end the fiscal extortion of Congress by the conservative cabal that is entrenched in both the House and Senate. If necessary, let all the Bush tax cuts expire as scheduled.
Why is this important?
During the past four years, conservative blackmail tactics have severely crippled Congress. It is very unlikely Republicans will meet the President halfway before the end of the year. We need to have the courage to accept a tax increase in order to break the tyrannical hold of conservatives in both houses who are committed to only protecting the interests of million and billionaires.
