Consider the numbers!

Health care should be a right, not a privilege. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect and with the best health care. The Affordable Care Act points us in that direction. Yes, it will need to be tweaked as time goes on, but the goal should always be affordable health care for ALL. Seeking to repeal the act moves us backward in this country. We should be proud to be moving forward and correcting the previous huge inequities in access to affordable health care.

Why is this important?

Very dear friends have found affordable health insurance through the Marketplace. They were "uninsurable" before. Now they are covered in spite of pre-existing conditions. It has taken a huge worry off their shoulders--the fear of losing everything they have to pay medical costs.
I will gladly pay more for my health insurance premiums if it means affordable care is available to everyone. That's a "no-brainer!"
