We the undersigned citizens of the United States petition Congress and the president to begin the process of a Constitutional amendment that causes all elections; federal, state and local, to be exclusively financed through public funding.
Why is this important?
To return the electoral process to the people, to reverse the disastrous effects of the Supreme Court decision that allows unlimited, unregulated special interest money to corrupt our democratic process, a Constitutional amendment that places all elections–federal, state and local–under limited public financing regulation, is needed.
