Establish a constitutional amendment for maximum eight year Congressional term limits for both the house and senate, and to limit retirement and insurance benefits to expire at end of term. What is established for social security and medicare by Congress for the American people should also be the law of the land and pertain to the members of congress as well.
Why is this important?
Congress has become an organization that works for itself as an elite membership, sometimes for life, instead of working for the interest of the American people who have elected them. We need to let them know who is, and should be, in control.
