Constitutional Amendment Authorizing Recall of U. S. Congresspeople
Due to the government gridlock in DC, it should be given over to the constituencies who elected them the authority to recall their House Representatives and Senators. "We the people" deserve much more than we have been getting from our federal government and a Constitutional Amendment giving us the power to recall those who are lacking in their duties is a vital and necessary tool to have.
Why is this important?
We do not send Senators and Representatives to Washington to mindlessly sabotage Presidential initiatives in the name of politricks [sic]. We elect them in hopes that they keep in mind the greater good and act thereon. How do we take back the reins of government and let our elected officials know that it is "we the people" - living, reasoning, breathing, bleeding human beings - for whom they should be laboring, and not corporations, which, in the eyes of the law, are considered persons, as well? So please join with me in demanding that Congress propose an amendment that will give us the authority to fire them if they are not about their constituents' business.
