We, the citizens of the State of Texas, as well as guests and visitors to our state, hereby request that our legislature implement full "Constitutional Carry" of firearms by law abiding citizens.
Why is this important?
The presence of an armed citizen has proved, many times, to prevent or at least reduce the number of injuries due to violent crime. It's time for Texas to join Vermont, Alaska, Wyoming, and Arizona in implementing full recognition of our Constitutional right to bear arms without having to get permission, in the form of a license, from the state.
