Coporate Abuse in Television Advertising

For years large coroporations have raped the people of America when it comes to their free choice of watching television adds. At the beginning of the TV era 3 commercials during a 30 minute television program was a lot. Now commercials have at least equal time with the program itself. I do not want to spend 40 to 60 % of the time I am watching television being solicited by coporations. I don't want to watch those ads and I should be given a choice since it is my dollar that is paying to have the programming in my house. The same is true of popup adds on the computer. I don't need them or want them so why do I have to have them? The people of American need to stand up and and demand no more than 15% of the time spent watching tv be controlled by coporate advertising. Today the adds pop up while the program is actually playing. When will the American People say enough is enough, I don't want to subjected and bombarded with advertising when I sit down to watch tv. If it was not being tolerated it would not continue. Are you fed up like me are you ready to say you are not going to take it anymore. Some one please pass a law limiting advertising on television. Ah but perhaps you would say well they are paying for the add time. America these corporations are seeing sales go up when they place these adds or they would not be so quick to do it. They are profiting and you are paying to watch them. My cable bill is through the roof and more than half of my time before the tv is watching ads lets stop this practice now! The government can help and if they will not help we need to take affirmative action and stop watching this stuff.
