Corn for food, not fuel

Stop using corn for ethanol, to make it available for food. End Renewable Fuels Standard mandate requiring 9% of fuel to be ethanol. Ethanol is costly, polluting and not fuel efficient.

Why is this important?

Because of a mandate, the Renewable Fuels Standard, 9% of fuel must be ethanol, so 40% of our corn goes for fuel. The UN has asked for end of mandate to relieve world food crisis. Ethanol pollutes, is less fuel efficient and costs taxpayers money. A governor must make request to EPA.
