The head of a corporation should know what his company is doing and should be held accountable for that company's actions. Giving a fine to a company is not a deterrent for bad behavior, but a prison sentence may be. Under the law we are held criminally liable for what happens in our homes and the actions of our children. Why then is it that CEO's that are paid huge salaries to run companies not held to the same standards?
Why is this important?
It's time to make Chef Executive Officers of all corporations criminally responsible for any illegal act perpetrated by the company they are in charge of.
