We the undersigned request that the Board of Regents support a study to determine if the conditions have been met regarding President Dennis Smith's letter of 1995 to Omaha business leaders calling for a separate UNO College of Engineering. If a study group were to conclude that the conditions have been met then we would ask the Board of Regents to direct NU President Milliken to fulfill the promises made by Dennis Smith to create a UNO College of Engineering.
