I think that it should be illegal to use your credit report to base a decision on whether you should be hired or not for a job.
Why is this important?
I think that I was discriminated against by a employer because of my credit score. I have lost my job and my credit score has suffered because I could only afford to pay for the necessities. I was more that qualified for the position but was not hired. On the application, it was stated that they do credit check.
