We the People want a hero, someone who's willing to take extreme political chances by crossing the common aisle to embark upon an uncommon path to the America we can and should be.
Why is this important?
We, the American People, are exasperated and exhausted after watching the political machinations of those who are interested in maintaining their clout in the name of doing what the constituents want.
We want a hero, someone who's not afraid to compromise. We want someone who's willing to cross that aisle and make some hard choices without worrying about fallout from the GOP or the Democratic machine. Don't hold out on us. And, by the way, we're smarter than we look; we can smell the arsonist-firefighter a mile away.
