Custodial parent childcare expenses

Custodial parents should not have to solely absorb exhorbent expenses such as child care before child support services will consider the expense to include in the support order, especially with untimely handling of cases. Proof of need, enrollment and cost should be suffient and if necessary proof of attendance after the order.

Why is this important?

When I was trying to establish a child support order I was required by CSS to incur the child care expenses of my child without any support from the noncustodial parent. If I could not afford to pay they would not include the amount in the order. It took CSS 1.5 years to get to my case and I struggled trying to pay this in addition to taking care of my child alone to prove that this is a legitimate expense.
