The feeble resolution to the fiscal cliff and the numerous other problems which Congress has been unable to resolve, due to stubborn partisanship, calls for their demotion in pay. Let them earn their salaries by being effective!
Why is this important?
Members of the United States Congress have utterly failed to do their job in protecting the welfare of this country. Their inability to resolve differences and be effective is shameful. They deserve a pay cut.
