The House of Representatives recently passed a 2012 Military Budget (HR-2219) of $649 Billions, a 2.7% increase over the 2011 Military Budget. Considering all the strong talk coming out of congress about cutting domestic spending on social programs, it is time for congress to get serious about cutting military spending.
