When you think of cutting SS & Medicare for the poor and middle class, why don't you look at the retirement benefits of the House & Senate. It makes me angry to know that elected members are paid benefits for being in office for a short period of time like John Edwards and others in jail. This will help with decreasing our national debts.
Why is this important?
This will help decrease our national debt. They need to look at themselves as the ones that are causing some of the debt problems.
