In this "go over the cliff" time, some congessmen are demanding that the middle class and more specifically the poor in this country need to make sacrifices that will change their lives, but not for the better. I think it is time for the Senators and Congressmen make a few sacrifices. This is a petition demanding that they to make sacrifices by cutting their pay by 30% and that they not receive their pension benefits until they are retired and have reached the age of 70 years.
Why is this important?
This petition is about the stale mate between the entire U.S. Congress and the President over spending cuts. Some Congressmen want to put the burden of spending cuts on the underprivileged citizens, poor, and elderly, who cannot afford them. I am asking that the Senators and Congressman share in the burden of the spending cuts.
