Cuts to Congressional Entitlements

We the People demand that cuts to Congressional Entitlements be put before the negotiating table for Fiscal Cliff Discussion. We expect Congress to approve cuts in all Congressional Entitlements as follows...cuts in salary, cuts in sick leave, cuts in holiday leave, cuts in medical benefits and cuts in retirement benefits before any moves to cut the hard earned entitlements in Social Security and Medicare earned through out the working life of America's working and middle class.

Why is this important?

For too long We the People have been the bargaining chip for "Off the Cliff" negotiations. Certain members of Congress are demanding cuts in Social Security and Medicare. Entitlements working people have paid into all their working lives. There is little doubt that the most lucrative government entitlements per individual are those afforded to Members of Congress. If Congress insists on putting the hard earned entitlements of America's working people on the negotiating table then they should, in all fairness, put their own entitlements on the table as well. We demand cuts in holiday leave, medical benefits, salary, sick leave and retirement benefits for all members of Congress.
