Dear president and congressional legislators. Don't leave DC until you have passed a budget and started balancing our finances. The debt is killing off all American taxpayers. Why should you take breaks and vacations when our country is going bankrupt?!
Why is this important?
My taxes are going up, my medicare is near worthless, Can't afford to pay increased energy costs. Why? Because our president and Congress won't do their duty. Senate won't even bring bills up for a vote that would extend current tax rates. Senate won't pass a budget more less a balanced budget. Call and write your reps and senators. Tell them to do their duty as they swore an oath to do.
