Dealing with Arizona's Primary Fiasco
It's now clear that, despite citizen protests, Arizona officials have no intention of allowing a "re-vote" despite the fact that thousands of potential voters were dis-enfranchised, and there are calls for a DOJ investigation to insure it doesn't happen again. Democratic officials and convention delegates should demand instant action or declare that Arizona's delegation will not be seated at the Democratic National Convention.
Why is this important?
Polls showed Sanders leading 60-40 just prior to this primary. Thousands of Independents who registered as Democrats to vote for Sanders couldn't vote because "official records" didn't reflect their registration. Any adjustments for "next time" ignore the fact that popular will is being short-circuited and the Democratic Party needs to look different from the Republicans in cases of election fraud. Democratic elites and Clinton supporters aren't going to complain, so we must.
