If you had a mandate, it was to break the gridlock that has prevented our government from solving our problems. You do not have a mandate to ignore the views of the majority of Americans.
The majority of Americans believe:
1. in equal rights and opportunities for all Americans
2. in doing whatever we can to limit the devastating consequences of climate change
3. in a thoughtful and reasoned approach to immigration reform
4. in building strong alliances to protect us from global threats
5. in addressing income inequality
6. in access to reasonable healthcare for all Americans
7. in thoughtful gun safety measures
8. in educating our children to be successful in today's global economy
