Debt Limit

Amendment XIV of the Constitution of the United States says "The validity of the public debt of the United States, authorized by law . . . shall not be questioned. I call on all members of the government to uphold the Constitution, as is their oath, and not question by withholding their vote for the debt limit whether the United States will pay its due debts.

Why is this important?

My petition is about preserving the integrity of the United States, and not scaring the economic markets by pretending that we would not pay our due bills.
