Defend #Senegal & #NewZealand UN vote against settlements

Defend Senegal & New Zealand's vote against settlements at the UN - the same position the US & international community have held for decades. Increase US aid to Senegal to counter Bibi's attempts to punish them.

Why is this important?

On December 23, the UN Security Council adopted a historic resolution against settlement colonies in the Palestinian West Bank. The vote was 14-0, with the US abstaining. US Ambassador to the UN Samantha Power said following the vote: "Today the Security Council reaffirmed its established consensus that the settlements have no legal validity." [1]

Bibi Netanyahu retaliated for the vote by recalling ambassadors from New Zealand and Senegal, and by ending all aid programs for Senegal. [2]

Urge President Obama and Congress to stand with New Zealand and Senegal by signing our petition.
