Democratic senators should pledge now not to allow Trump and the Republican Senate to appoint a Supreme Court Justice to fill the current vacancy.
Why is this important?
Trump does not have a mandate. A majority of Americans voted for Hillary. Republican senators have refused to allow Obama, who does have a mandate, to have his nomination for Supreme Court Justice voted on. The case for Democrats against a Trump nomination is much more clear.
