Party affiliation is often the reason candidates avoid third-party challenges to civil debate. No longer will political organization be the reason the public, especially our youth, be kept in the dark when it comes to the opinions of candidates running for office in their district.
Why is this important?
The people living in the 4th District of the City of Syracuse deserve better representation in the local government than they have been receiving to date. Poverty, violence and hunger plague the south side of the city and the 4th District is central to the morale of the City of Syracuse. The demand for a civil debate between candidates running for Common Council in the 4th District must come now and the event must take place before the last week in October!
