I'm calling on Congress to pass common-sense gun reform legislation that will:
1. Require a criminal background check for all gun sales
2. Ban assault weapons and high-capacity ammunition magazines
3. Make gun trafficking a federal crime with tough penalties
Why is this important?
It's past time to fix our broken gun laws.
