Police abuse and misconduct has decreased in cities and states where body and dashboard cameras are required for all encounters. Some bad acting police, e.g., in Louisiana, have turned off the cameras just before their bad acts; others have attempted to hide incriminating video footage.
Abuse misconduct and abuse is a threat to law enforcement in general and also compromises National Security.
Sign this petition to demand that body and dash cameras be required for ALL Law Enforcement and that ALL encounters between police and public or suspects be video taped.
