Pass an amendment to the Constitution that denies future office to members of Congress when they fail to pass necessary legislation (such as the budget) prior to deadlines or fail to act on treaties or presidental appointments of Judges, Ambassadors, etc.
Cut their pay and benefits automatically if the Budget isn't balanced.
Why is this important?
America needs a way to hold Congress accountable for gridlock. The best way to punish politicians is to deny them future office and benefits. So we need a constitutional amendment that does this automatically when Congress doesn't do it's job.
