Demand Fair Wages for Pima County Health Care Workers

Tell PCOA For All Board President Jim Murphy that low wage health care workers in Pima County deserve at least $10 per hour for providing critical quality care in our community!

Why is this important?

When home health care services for Pima County were contracted to a private company, PCOA for All, a promise was made to employees that they would not lose their existing pay and benefits.

Now PCOA for all is failing to honor that commitment by proposing cuts to employee benefits and less than living wage increases in pay.

At $9.60 an hour, these workers are well below median wage for their profession and have not had a wage increase in over 7 years.

The company is offering a 19 cents per hour wage increase, but offsetting this modest increase by approximately $1 per hour in decreases to employee benefits, in what effectively amounts to a pay cut.
