Fl needs a nurse to patient ratio law it could save lives, create jobs, and drive down the cost of healthcare.
Why is this important?
Currently nurses are often forced between doing what they know is right and refusing to care for more patients then they are capable of and staying employed. The quality of care suffers and patients get drive through care because nurses have know time to monitor and assess properly. This is a law they has been attempted before and I know some are against it I guess they'll have a change of thought when one of there loved ones dies because the nurse has a 10 patient work load with one or no aid and just didn't have time to provide care the way she was trained to do.
