Our minimum wages have gone to corporate heads instead of to the hard working hourly wage earners who deserve a living wage stimulating the economy tremendously and take families out of poverty.
Why is this important?
I have silently stood by and watch people on minimum wage go from sufficient income in the '70's slowly and continually shrink without any significant increase for the last 40+ years. Did inflation stop with it? No, and who has benefitted? The companies have and obviously need to be forced into paying employees what should have been theirs all along.
