Demand open public lobbying!
Americans can only have democracy if we see the lobbying process in its entirety. It must be recorded & searchable online so we, the People, are present as payments and demands are made.
Why is this important?
This one action would defeat Citizen's United and all other anti- democratic forces. Too often good bills are neutered by lobbying which occurs in secret. We are all disenfranchised by an unjust process. Democracy demands open and recorded, searchable records of all the contacts between elected representatives and special interests. Secrecy is poisonous and sunlight is the cure!
