Demand that Arizona Senator John McCain apologize to U.N. Ambassador Dr. Susan Rice on the floor ...

Arizona Senator John McCain, falsely accused U.S. UN Ambassador Dr. Susan Rice of deliberately misleading the public regarding her explanation on national TV of the tragic attacks on our embassy in Benghazi, Libya. Senator John McCain, then compounded his mistake by informing the national media that if the President nominated her for US Secretary of State, that he and his colleagues would do everything possible to block her appointment.
Senator McCain continued to lead an effort to publicly slander Dr. Rice in the national media for more than a month.
When the results of an internal C.I.A. investigation revealed that the talking points Dr. Rice used to explain what the administration knew was altered by C.I.A. Personnel to protect an ongoing investigation of the facts, which Senator McCain should have known had he attended classified intelligence briefings. He instead, chose to disparage Dr. Rice even further by accusing her of making a " stupid " remark. If Senator McCain does not apologize to Dr. Rice on the floor of the US Senate and have it read into it's permanent record, then I urge the US Senate to do so as a body and censure Senator McCain for his actions to slander a fellow public servant.
