Demand the release of President Trump's Tax Returns
The American People have the opportunity to either: (a) stop a precedent setting action by an elected U.S. President to refuse to release his tax returns, or (b) allow our power and control over our government to be further eroded by turning our attention away from this action. The choice is that simple.
The American People alone still determine the form of government and the acceptable standards we require of our elected officials. This President, like none other before him, needs to hear and feel the voices and demands of the citizens of Our Country.
He needs to be told "Yes, we actually do want to see your tax returns." "Yes, we feel it is best for Our Country to understand the debt obligations and potentially compromising liabilities this President and any future President of the United States may have." "And, Yes we believe this standard practice is in the best interest of all current and future Americans."
We can be heard if we choose to be. The choice is now yours.

Why is this important?
I am hoping this petition will act as a vehicle to clearly communicate the wishes of the American People surrounding the release of information from the Presidents we elect. The choice of our current President not to adopt the standard practice of releasing his/her tax returns, sets a precedent that could lead to unintended consequence which could be damaging to our country. I am hoping we can convince the current Administration, that this is a very important issue to the American People and their current inaction needs to be reversed.
