Senate Republicans are creating and trying to pass TrumpCare without holding a single hearing about it. They're doing it in private because they know that if they make it public, almost EVERYONE will reject it!!!
What kind of Democracy do we live in where bills can be passed without being made public??? No matter which political party you are affiliated with, you should NOT be able to pass SECRET LAWS!!!!!
The Democracy now act would require ALL lawmakers in the United States to hold public hearings showing ALL their bill proposals.
Why is this important?
I am creating this petition to create a federal regulation on bill proposals. As someone covered by the Affordable Care Act (ACA), I am not comfortable with 13 Senators hiding from me and trying to take away MY HEALTHCARE!!!!!!!!
